Automatic Cutting Table for Cutting and Squaring Fabrics Mod.
SM.400.TA |
The systems in our SM.400.TA range have been
designed to combine ease of use with high productivity. They
are particularly suitable for cutting acrylic and
coated fabrics. Thanks to our years of experience
and of working closely with customers everywhere in the world,
, our systems are extremely reliable and meet users’
needs perfectly. Ultrasonic lengthwise cutting
ensures quality even when the fabric will undergo further
processing, searing the cut edge to make sure of long-lasting
quality.
The
modular sizes of the machine (both in width and in height)
enable it to fit in with any need in terms of both production
and space availability. The quality of the materials used
to make our machines is such that their specifications are
maintained in time, and the choice of components of the best
brands in the world ensures reliability and the availability
of servicing everywhere.

The
highly intuitive software is user friendly
even for operators not used to automatic or IT systems in spite
of their long experience in the processing of fabrics.
The ease with which they will become familiar with the system
means that it can even be entrusted to seasonal workers inexperienced
in working with fabrics.
Basically,
the software allows this system to be used in two different
ways:
Automatic
cutting: when making awnings, for
instance, the number of strips of fabric needed is calculated
automatically simply by entering the size of the finished awning.
The operator can select the required type of awning from all
those currently used.
Semiautomatic cutting: this procedure allows
single or multiple cuts depending on the height and width entered
by the operator. |
| Some
of the available options are: |
-
Fabric-end
photoelectric cell: for detecting the end
of the fabric on the roll, enabling it to be replaced
so as to complete the required work automatically.
-
Automatic
fabric width recognition system: for automatically
detecting any displacement of the fabric from its
zero reference, changing the positioning of the ultrasound
for longitudinal trimming of the cloth.
-
Fabric
lighting system: an area of the fabric is
lit from below before it is cut so as to enable the
operator to see any flaws, enabling the work cycle
to be stopped so as to avoid more serious damages.
-
Automatic
side roller: this rolls up the fabrics automatically
once they have been cut, leaving them ready in the
position for sewing.
-
Rotating
storage facility with roll-holder chain: this
device loads the , holding on to them so that they
can be positioned automatically and the fabric can
be cut off directly from the storage facility
-
On-line
system: this system can be connected to a
PC and to the company’s internal network, enabling
orders to be entered directly via the machine so as
to optimise work in terms of fabric, size and customer.
This minimises wastage, errors in entering sizes and
losses of time for changing rolls. Moreover, it is
possible to download the overall fabric inventory
automatically.
-
Fabric
traceability: Fabrics can be traced to a
pre-established height before completion of the laying,
so a s to facilitate the next stages of processing,
e.g. for removal of a valance.

| Ultrasonic
Semi Automated Workbench and Cutter for Cutting and Squaring
Fabrics Mod. SM. 420.TA |
|
This user-friendly workbench was designed
for low-cost cutting of fabrics using
ultrasonic technology or with a cold
cutter.
The
roll of fabric is housed on a cradle
with ball bearings and is unrolled by hand to the appropriate
size. The ultrasonic device or cutter start the cutting
cycle automatically following activation of a pneumatic
control.
Once
the piece of cloth has been cut off the roll, the same
operation can be carried out on the separated piece, after
rotating it, in order to cut to the required size and
to square it on the opposite side.
The
cutting speed and the working pressure of the ultrasonic
tip are adjustable.
The
size of the workbench is modular and can vary depending
on the type of fabric used.

| Laser
Beam Valance Shaping Machine with Automatic Colour Recognition
System Mod. SM.TLM.05 |
| This
machine was designed to guarantee perfect
manufacturing quality, keeping the intervention
of the operator to a minimum.
The fabric (a sewn strip of cloth between
200 and 500 mm wide) is placed by hand on a fixed seat.
The machine, which has a conveyor belt, slides automatically
over the fabric, scanning it rapidly with a camera to
identify its weave and shape.
Once this procedure has been completed, the whole strip
of cloth that has been scanned will be shown on the display
terminal. At this point, the operator simply selects the
type of cutting to be made and uses the mouse to pick
the part of the pattern on which it is to be centred.
When the movement of the conveyor belt is reversed, the
machine ejects the fabric, cutting it with the laser beam
and returning it to the operator.
Unlike
other machines currently available on the market for this
work, thanks to this innovative software, it is no longer
necessary to enter data such as the pitch, curtain width,
measurement of first cloth, fabric width and so on.
All the data needed are calculated automatically by the
computer by processing the images produced by the camera.
The only choice to be made by the operator is aesthetic,
not dimensional. The preview function enables the operator
to view the cut on the fabric, that is to say the finished
work, in a few seconds, even before starting the cutting
cycle.

|
ADVANTAGES |
-
With
this software, no calculations are needed and the
operator simply chooses on the basis of what can be
seen
-
Minimized
cycle time
-
The
laser technology enables many different materials
to be cut, automatically optimizing the power without
touching the fabric physically (which can lead to
jamming or inaccuracies in particular in the proximity
of seams, in the case of mechanical or ultrasonic
cutting)
-
Small
machine size: 1500 x 1000 mm, height 1500 mm
